Fable: Who will you be?

I got Fable the other night, but I'm reluctant to play it (or even open it from the package). I'm not sure if I will like the medieval feel of the game or not, even though I like the developing your own charater part.

The Suffering

I've been playing The Suffering for a little while now. It's a creepy game. I like it. Also I've been playing Super Mario Brothers in my classes while I have free time. My goal is to beat it before finals are over. I'm on 6-3.
