She was born March 27, 1956, in St. Louis, daughter of Donald Robert and Virginia Charlotte Mensinger Adams. She and Dennis J. Todd were married Sept. 9, 1978, in St. Louis County.
Todd was a graduate of Mehlville High School in South St. Louis County and received an associate of applied science degree in computer science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1977. She was currently a systems coordinator at Saint Francis Medical Center, where she had been employed more than 18 years.
She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ. Todd was also a Boy Scout volunteer with the Shawnee District of the Greater St. Louis Council, serving the district and council in many capacities.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis J. Todd of Jackson; parents, Donald and Virginia Adams of St. Louis County; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas J. and Lesley Todd of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Ray Rath of St. Peters, Mo.; and a grandson, Alexander J. Todd.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Boy Scouts of America Greater St. Louis Council.

Troy James Hays, 26, of Sparta, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008.
He was born Sept. 7, 1981, in Creve Coeur, Mo., son of James and Ruth Poddig Hays.
Troy currently taught math, English and physical education, and coached the girls varsity basketball and boys varsity baseball teams at Bradleyville High School. He was a member of MSTA and had been senior class sponsor the past two years. He was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church at Patton.
Troy enjoyed motorcycles and all sports, especially basketball and baseball. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Troy was especially devoted to his son and girlfriend.
Survivors include his parents, Ruth and James Hays of Patton; his girlfriend, Ashley Parres of Sparta; a son, Thomas James Hays of Sparta; a brother, Dustin Hays and wife Michelle of Tennessee; a sister, Brandy Ratcliff and husband Randy of Patton; a nephew, Tristan Ratcliff of Patton; grandparents, Shirley Burns of Festus, Mo., James and Janice Hays of Patton, and Betty Poddig of Illinois; a great-grandmother, Irene Ivy of Affton, Mo.; future in-laws, Tom and Debby Parres of Jackson; Jennifer and Ryan Shelton of Tennessee; Kelly Parres and Josh Birk, Lesley and Nick Todd, Whitney Parres and Seth Bollinger, all of Jackson; and many family and friends.
Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Poddig, Lynnis Burns and Mary and Bernie Parres.
