Prepare to Be Roasted

Prepare to Be Roasted
If you were to say that Jeff Foxworthy made a good decision to leave his $30,000 a year job to go into standup comedy, we sure wouldn’t argue with you. Having taken his redneck brand of southern comedy into almost every form of media imaginable, there aren’t many folks out there who haven’t heard the phrase “you might be a redneck if…” Jeff is the author of best selling books, the star of Ace Award winning comedy specials, starred in his own sitcom (on two different networks), is the first comedian to ever have an album go triple platinum, the host of a weekly countdown radio show, and stars in a new sketch comedy show on The WB. Oh, and maybe you’ve heard of one of his other side projects, the highly successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which has spawned two comedy albums, a movie, DVDs and a hit sketch comedy show. One drawback to all this success is that it has given his contemporaries plenty of material to use against him in the upcoming Comedy Central Roast which will air this Sunday.
